Jane New
Associate Director
Jane New joined Technology Licensing & Commercialization in 2001 and is primarily responsible for the licensing and commercialization of the University's life science portfolio. In her current role as Associate Director, she continues to work with the Colleges of Medicine & Public Health, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine and Food, Agriculture & Environmental Science. Prior to joining OSU, Jane was President of the Kansas Innovation Corporation focusing on technology transfer and technology-based, new business development in Northeast Kansas and managed a pre-seed fund and its portfolio of investments. Jane has also consulted for the National Institutes of Standards and Technology in their Advanced Technology Program. Jane holds both an MBA and a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Kansas.
