Tony von Sadovszky

Software Commercialization Manager

bioTony von Sadovszky is responsible for the intellectual property management, licensing and commercialization of Software and related Information Technologies developed at OSU. He comes to the University with over 20 years full life-cycle software experience in start-up, midsize and Fortune 500 class companies, as well as the Government and Academic sectors. Tony has an extensive background in the Aerospace, Life Sciences, Finance and Telecommunications industries, which includes the commercialization, development, marketing and deployment of desktop, and enterprise scale applications, as well as IT consulting and professional services. Most recently, he was the Technology Development Manager for Accelrys, Inc., where he was responsible for in-licensing and M&A activities; Program Manager for the bioinformatics start-up Genetic Computer Group, Inc., and Engineering Manager for a division of Thermo Electron Corporation. Tony holds a BSc in Physics and BSc in Mathematics from the University of Nevada, Reno, where he also taught Astronomy and Computer Science, and conducted graduate research in Astronomy and theoretical Atomic and Molecular Physics.
